Welcome! I’m thrilled to introduce this advanced online cookie class. If you’re ready to take your cookie decorating skills to the next level, you’re in the right place. I chose a baby shower theme because it seems like half of my order requests are for baby showers. I hope that you can use many of these designs in your orders as well, and I cannot wait to see your creations!
 
Please note that my sugar cookie recipe and royal icing recipe are NOT included in this class. Rather than price the class higher for including my recipes, I chose to make it more affordable just in case you already have a recipe that you love. You are always welcome to purchase my recipes separately here, or use your own favorite cookie recipe.
 
For this class, we will be decorating all basic shaped cookies to keep it simple and to show that you don’t need fancy cookie cutters to make beautiful cookies! We will cover a variety of techniques that are appropriate for decorators at all skill levels.
 
This class includes a step-by-step guide for all 4 cookies, a piping practice sheet, and 6 videos (located in the Facebook group). Once you are admitted into the Facebook group, you can watch the tutorials at any time and move at your own pace. The videos will cover how to: 
mix icing colors to color match and achieve both dark and light shades
achieve the right icing consistencies for outlining, detailing, and flooding
avoid air bubbles
cut tipless bags
piping lines, curves, etc
prevent cratering
layer designs
achieve clean wet on wet designs
achieve a realistic wood grain look
the right consistencies for royal icing transfers
using your Eddie printer to print backgrounds and icing transfers
and more!
 
Skill Level: Intermediate
For this class, I recommend that you have a basic understanding of royal icing and general piping techniques. However, I do cover all techniques needed to make these cookies, so newbies that are willing to give it their best shot and push themselves could also thrive in this class.
